Pickleball ist ein neuer Trendsport, der Badminton, Tischtennis und Tennis miteinander kombiniert. Er wird hauptsächlich als Doppel gespielt, es gibt aber auch Regeln für das Einzelspiel. Ein guter Überblick zu den Regeln gibt der deutsche Pickleballverband hier. Steffi Graf und Andre Agassi spielen es, aber auch Millionen von ganz "normalen Menschen" auf der ganzen Welt.
Die Platzmiete umfasst das Material in Form von Netz, vier Schlägern und vier Bällen, die am Infopoint in der Universitätssporthalle abgeholt und nach der Spielzeit auch wieder dort abgegeben werden müssen. Der Tennisplatz 1 bietet 2 Pickleball-Felder. Die Miete bezieht sich nur auf das vordere (Feld A) oder nur auf das hintere Feld (Feld B) jeweils vom Eingang auf den Platz gesehen.
Der mögliche Buchungsslot am Vormittag ist 9.30 - 11.30 Uhr. Am Nachmittag und Abend kann die Zeit von 16.00 - 17.45 Uhr oder von 17.45 - 19.30 Uhr gebucht werden. Die Rückgabe des Materials muss am Infopoint in der Universitätssporthalle bis 12.45 Uhr für den Vormittag und bis 19.45 Uhr für die Nachmittags-/Abendzeit erfolgen.

Achtung: Ausschlaggebend für den Preis ist der Status der buchenden Person im Moment der Buchung! Material, das verloren oder kaputt zurückgebracht wird, muss selbstverständlich ersetzt werden.
Feld A

The court rental includes the equipment in the form of a net, four rackets and four balls, which must be collected from the Infopoint in the University Sports Hall and returned there after the game. Tennis court 1 has 2 pickleball courts. The rental refers only to the front court (court A) or only to the back court (court B) as seen from the entrance to the court.
The possible booking slot in the morning is 9.30 - 11.30 am. In the afternoon and evening, the time from 16.00 - 17.45 or from 17.45 - 19.30 can be booked. Equipment must be returned to the Infopoint in the University Sports Hall by 12.45 p.m. for the morning and by 7.45 p.m. for the afternoon/evening.
