Pickleball ist ein neuer Trendsport, der Badminton, Tischtennis und Tennis miteinander kombiniert. Er wird hauptsächlich als Doppel gespielt, es gibt aber auch Regeln für das Einzelspiel. Die Platzmiete umfasst das Material in Form von Netz, vier Schlägern und vier Bällen, die am Infopoint in der Universitätssporthalle abgeholt und nach der Spielzeit auch wieder dort abgegeben werden müssen. Der Tennisplatz 1 bietet 2 Pickleball-Felder. Die Miete bezieht sich nur auf das vordere (Feld A) oder nur auf das hintere Feld (Feld B) jeweils vom Eingang auf den Platz gesehen. Das Material umfasst ein selbst aufzubauendes Netz sowie 4 Schläger und 4 Bälle.
