Basic Diving Licence
In our local waters it is recommended to start with the basic diving licence before advancing to free water training. All skills necessary for free water diving will be learnt in an ideal environment (indoor/outdoor pool).
The course consists of a training in snorkelling and scuba diving in an indoor pool with appropriate theoretical training. The courses objective is to move and breathe underwater free of anxiety by learning the basic diving techniques and handling of diving equipment.
After completion of the course the participants should have the basic knowledge and skills for safe diving with and without a scuba (self-contained underwater breathing apparatus). The course ends with a test, in which theoretical knowledge and snorkelling and scuba exercises have to be demonstrated. Please note that regular participation in the theoretical course is mandatory to take the theoretical test!
After a successfully completed theoretical and practical test it is possible to take part in the subsequent CMAS *-course, in which an internationally recognized diving licence can be obtained.
If required mask, flippers and snorkel (ABC-equipment) can be hired from the instructors.
During the scuba training each participant has to help twice with transport and supply of equipment.
